Chiaroscuro quartet
Formed in 2005 at the Royal College of Music London, Chiaroscuro Quartet performs music of the Classical period with appropriate instruments and technique.
The quartet's engagements have included the Wigmore Hall, York Early Music Centre, Birmingham Conservatoire, Jersey Arts Centre, Festival Les Vacances de Monsieur Haydn, and a BBC Radio 3 concert at the Sage Gateshead. In 2009, following an Aldeburgh Residency, the quartet gave a series of ‘Aldeburgh on Tour' concerts at St. George's Bristol, Royal Northern College of Music, Kings Place London, Cambridge Music Festival and the Aldeburgh Easter Festival. Future engagements include the Auditorium du Louvre Paris, Cheltenham Music Festival, and the complete Mozart quartets in Port-Royal-des-Champs.
